they were silenced. 

despite this, in the past twenty years women entrepreneurs have more than doubled. they founded and owned their own businesses, they created innovative solutions, and they led the development of cutting-edge technology. 

as a woman getting ready to break into her industry, I wanted to use this project as a way to show appreciation for all those who came before me. this is for the women who paved the way for the next generation of women. and for those who continued this path for the women who followed. this is for the inventors, the activists, and the fighters. this is for the CEOs, the founders, and the entrepreneurs, 
this is for the trailblazers.
